3B Training is running Parent and Child First Aid courses with all proceeds going to Millie’s Trust Charity

Greater Manchester based training company, 3B Training, is offering Parent and Child First Aid courses for just £5 to raise awareness and money for Millie’s Trust Charity.

The three-hour course aims to teach both parents and their children what to do in the event of a first aid emergency. The course is also suitable for grandparents and other guardians.

The full £5 from each booking will be donated to Millie’s Trust Charity.

Millie’s Trust was established in 2012 after Millie Thompson tragically passed away following a choking incident at a nursery. The charity’s aim is to make first aid training readily available and affordable in as many places as possible.

3B Training has cemented its support for the charity by using expertise to offer the First Aid training to as many parents and guardians as possible,  sharing vital information that could save a child’s life.

Joanne Thompson CEO of Millie’s Trust said “We are very pleased to hear that 3B Training is supporting Millie's Trust by hosting courses for parents and raising funds for Millie's Trust to support our work. It is fantastic to see that 3B Training is keen to train parents in paediatric first aid to ensure that a parent can handle an accident that may happen at home. We look forward to hearing about how much attendees have enjoyed the course and about how much they have learnt.”

The courses are available at 3B Training, Stratus House, Swan Lane, Hindley Green, Wigan, WN2 4EY. You can book online at 3b Training or over the phone on 01942 597 333.

Mathew Bewley, Managing Director at 3B Training said: “We wanted to support Millie’s Trust as we share their belief that everyone should have access to first aid training. Almost all of our employees are first aid trained, we believe it’s an important life skill that everyone should have. We decided to run the Parent and Child First Aid courses to show our support to Millie’s Trust and to help more people become first aid trained.”
