Nadine is the founder of Just Entrepreneurs, a media publication dedicated to inspiring and educating entrepreneurs across the globe. Nadine launched Just Entrepreneurs in 2015, with the intention of being the number place startups and seasoned entrepreneurs go to, to share their amazing businesses, connect and be inspired. With an accumulated 7 years worth of experience in marketing, content creation and events Nadine strongly believes that the power of creating the right content will always yield great results. Being a mother of three, Nadine tends to incorporate her children into her work schedule, which has inspired an abundance of mumpreneurs to break the fear of coupling work with being a mother.

Before starting Just Entrepreneurs, Nadine left her long standing role as a Youth Work and later Accountant, to take up an internship position in Editorial working for Shaa Wasmund MBE. Nadine worked her way up from an intern to Head of Marketing and Events & Loans Coordinator, which resulted in her planning, marketing and running some of the greatest networking events in London; working with the likes of O2, Start Up Loans and Santander.

Darren Mulvihull

Darren Mulvihill is a Senior Business Development Manager withCrowdcube, the world’s first and leading investment crowdfunding platform. Darrenworks with entrepreneurs who are looking to use the Crowdcube platform to raise investment for their businesses, enabling them to get the most out of the process as well as understand how to plan for successful campaigns.

Prior to joining Crowdcube, Darren worked with an angel investment fund based in Ireland and established the Irish chapter of Startup Grind. He is a graduate of the Michael Smurfit School of Business at University College Dublin.

Alison is the founder of Adia PR and the torchbearer behind some of the UK’s most disruptive and trailblazing entrepreneurs. Alison launched Adia PR in 2013 to help inspired entrepreneurs to build brand awareness and get noticed in the media as ‘the’ go-to experts in their field. Her clients are regularly featured in the crème de la crème of the media world, like The Times, Forbes, and The BBC, and they’re frequently winners of coveted industry awards. Alison’s impressive background includes key marketing roles at global consultancy Accenture, a pioneering real estate company in New York and the European Commission in Brussels. Her first step into the entrepreneurial world was launching an Italian food ecommerce business into the UK.

As a PR innovator, Alison has led the way with Kickstarter and Crowdfunding campaigns. She has helped many of her clients launch their new products after successfully reaching their funding goals in record time. Alison was asked to advise on the PR strategy for one of the first companies to launch on Tesco’s new crowdfunding platform BackIt.

Nadine is the founder of Just Entrepreneurs – a platform created to support startups, small businesses and entrepreneurs through networking events, workshops and actionable content. Nadine has worked with the likes of Shaa Wasmund MBE where she worked her way up from an intern, to planning, marketing and running some of the greatest networking events in London. With a background in Accounting and Youth Work, Nadine has always dedicated time to empower entrepreneurs, both young and old to follow their dreams and change world. 

As a content expert Nadine often mentors and work with bloggers and small business owners, so they can harness the power of content and grow their business.

 

Gemma Whattes

Founder of All by Mama, Gemma Whates, Mama to two young boys and ex Marketing Account Director, launched All By Mama in 2014 from a desire to support and promote flexible working for mums who don’t want to have to choose between family or work life. Since launch, the All by Mama community has grown at a rapid pace, with over 200 sellers and feature over 2,000 products. With an engaged social audience and database of 30,000 people supporting this innovative move to support Mumpreneurs. 

In 2016 a crowdfunding campaign was launched on Crowdcube, which was successfully funded to add two additional revenue streams; securing All by Mama 101% funding of £75,770. 

 

 

Anthony David King

Anthony David King works with partners like Silicon Valley and investors to develop and fund some of Britain's most innovative ventures, and design innovation programmes such as accelerators for start-ups, organisations and government.

After working with more than 100 schools, start-ups and government to fund and develop new ventures, he launched Anthony David King Ventures. With a mission to do the same on a global scale and make its learning more accessible. This work now spans more than 200 ventures in tech, education and music, across 15 cities, engaging millions of people every year. This includes a partnership with the British Phonographic Industry (BPI) - the organisation that represents the UK's recorded music industry and runs the BRIT Awards - to develop their new innovation hub. 

Anthony is also a partner at Rare Seed Capital, which a focuses on early-stage seed funding for high-growth tech start-ups with diverse founders and teams. In 2016, Anthony was made a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and Commerce for his remarkable contribution to developing innovative ventures throughout Britain.

 

 

Darren Mulvihill

This is suitable for anyone wanting to build a website or a blog, while in need of a platform that offers ease of setup and maintenance. During this workshop we will build a simple website using free Squarespace themes and work through the basics of getting your website live for less. We will look at two different templates that will require no coding skills. By the end of the workshop, you will have a website ready to launch.

What you'll learn

  • you'll learn how to use blogging and social media to get your new website noticed

  • how to make changes and update your website on your own

  • create a simple content strategy that matches your product or service
