Specialists in superior automotive ‘aesthetic and technology’, British EV start-up Everrati are thrilled to announce the appointment of Mike Kerr as Director of Engineering.

Previously of McLarenCosworth and Lotus, Mike has accrued over 25 years of experience leading the engineering and delivery of high-performance automotive powertrain solutions. Having developed McLaren’s first hybrid electric driveline system, Mike was also responsible for the powertrain control, driveline team, and emissions test facilities at Lotus, bringing admirable knowledge to the fast-expanding team behind Everrati.

Technology enthusiasts, inventors, and innovators, Everrati reconceive some of the worlds most beautiful and iconic cars, with a clear objective – to maintain and preserve the last 100 years of automotive design through the electrification of motoring icons. Working with legendary vehicles from the past, Everratiinvigorates the world’s most desirable cars, combining high-tech battery-powered performance with classic good looks, all the while reducing carbon emissions.

Our vision is to create the world’s most iconic electric cars, reconceiving (once) thirsty gas-guzzlers to zero-emission vehicles, to ensure their charm and allure can continue to be enjoyed for years to come” – Justin Lunny, Chief Executive Officer, Everrati.

With many luxury cars emitting their own weight in CO2 every 1,500 miles driven(!!), Everrati expertly tackles two major issues with classic cars: carbon emissions, and the lack of recyclable content. Devoted to classic engineering and style, combined with Mike’s high-calibre experience of developing cutting-edge technologies, Everrati is able to engineer vehicles that will allow classic driving experiences way into the low carbon emissions future.

“The classic car market has seen little in the way of innovation. Values have continued to climb, and ownership is as popular as ever, however, the dilemma facing many existing, and would be, owners is that most of these magnificent motoring icons will likely be banned from cities within 5-10 years due to their emissions. We fully believe the time is right to disrupt the sector and deliver beautiful, usable classics to thought-leaders concerned with sustainability.” - Justin Lunny, Everrati.

Honouring the true beauty and workmanship of covetable classics, Everrati have already given a new lease of life to the breathtaking Mercedes-Benz SL ‘Pagoda’ and also the ever-iconic Porsche 964 Targa. Both of which are available to specify in a range of colours and trim to suit customer requirements. Further ambitious conversions include Land Rovers and E-Type Jaguars.

From the initial stages of conception to expert reconstruction and craftsmanship, Everrati elegantly merges the parameters of old and new with varying levels of technology and design intervention. The result is a handsome, well-preserved piece of auto history, with a spanking new “green heart”.

Everrati are producing some of the worlds most iconic electric cars, providing a full eco-makeover to sublime and iconic motors of the past” – Justin Lunny, Everrati.
