EXALT becomes official sports nutrition drink supplier to Tottenham Hotspur

Start-up nutrition brand EXALT has announced a four-year partnership as Official Sports Nutrition Drink Supplier to Tottenham Hotspur. EXALT has created bespoke recovery drinks with individual recipes for each Men's First Team player based on their goals and supplement protocol.

As part of the long-term partnership, the EXALT team have worked closely with Tottenham Hotspur Head of Nutrition Emma Tester to develop unique and bespoke formulations for each player based on their nutritional requirements and supplement regime to support their training and recovery. Their specific formulation will be adapted based on regular blood tests to ensure maximum efficacy. The drinks will be cold-pressed for maximum nutrient provision using HPP (pressure) to naturally extend the shelf life. The combination of which is a sports nutrition industry-first to provide fresh, customised nutrition at scale.

EXALT is a premium nutrition brand with sustainability at the heart of everything they do. Their range encompasses fresh, raw protein smoothies, functional cold-pressed juices with natural botanicals and sports recovery drinks – designed by experts and made by hand in London. EXALT’s products are made with premium all-natural ingredients to complement a healthy (but hectic) lifestyle. Each ingredient is a real food product deeply grounded in nutritional science working with EXALT’s team of expert dieticians and nutritionists.

Charlie Wilson-Vaughan, Co-Founder EXALT said: “This partnership is huge for a business which we only started two years ago in one of the most difficult economic environments in recent history. As such, we are immensely proud to be an exclusive supplier to one of the world’s leading football clubs. It’s testament to the hard work, dedication, and expertise of the EXALT team that we’re able to provide Tottenham Hotspur’s players with truly personalised bespoke sports nutrition drinks to support their high intensity training and recovery throughout the season and beyond.

Dan Wilson-Vaughan, Co-Founder EXALT said: “At EXALT our aim is to empower people through nutrition to be able to strike the perfect balance between living an active lifestyle (on, or off the pitch) and making the most of every minute of their day. Our customers are typically high-achievers who are time-poor, so knowing we’ve got their back when it comes to premium, fresh, on-the-go nutrition that is rooted in science. This is how we’ve managed to create such a loyal following in such a short period of time.

Fran Jones, Partnerships Director Tottenham Hotspur said:

“EXALT are a young, smart, British business with sustainability at its heart – something we are extremely passionate about as a Club. This agreement represents an exciting opportunity for us to provide our Nutritionists with best-in-class products to support our players’ performance and recovery.”

EXALT is committed to sustainability and accountability across its supply chain. From the outset, they’ve worked with acclaimed sustainability consultancy, Sancroft International.

Tottenham Hotspur continues to top the Premier League sustainability table produced by the UN-backed Sport Positive. EXALT have worked closely with Sancroft to support the Club’s ongoing sustainability goals with this partnership. The use of EXALT's 100% recycled and recyclable bottles aligns with Tottenham’s goal to eliminate use of single-use plastic. EXALT will use 100% recycled and 100% recyclable bottles as a lower carbon footprint alternative to virgin plastic. This assists Tottenham Hotspur with their carbon emissions commitments: 50% reduction by 2030 and net zero by 2040.

As part of the partnership, EXALT will be sampling at selected match days throughout the season and Spurs will be supporting with presence on marketing channels including Matchday Programme, Spurs TV, digital newsletter and across Club channels.
