Maison Sport announces suite of partnerships to expand services and global reach

Maison Sport, the market leading independent ski and snowboard instructor provider, announced it is partnering with a number of providers in the UK and across the globe to open a new customer acquisition channel and strengthen its position in the marketplace.

This comes in line with the winter ski season and on the back of the booking platforms’ recent investment news, which laid down its target to reach 300% growth this year. Performance is tracking well with bookings currently 200% up on last season.

The new partnerships will allow tour operators and chalet companies to offer their customers Maison Sport’s product and give their booking agents a one-stop-shop for booking lessons in all resorts across Europe.

Nick Robinson, CEO of Maison Sport, said: “We’re focused on expanding our services and reach, right across the globe, to enhance our customer journey and deliver growth. We know that building strong alliances brings significant opportunity for our brand and most importantly, our customers. That’s why we’ve been building connections and working hard to partner with key accommodation providers over the past few months. We’re excited about this next step, which is all about enabling more customers to access our products and see the benefits of using our leading service for booking their lessons.”

The confirmed partners that Maison Sport is collaborating with includes.

  1. Global Ski & Adventure Specialist Alpine Adventures

  2. Luxury tour operator Scott Dunn

  3. Tailor made holiday provider Ski Solutions

  4. Group ski provider Ski Sync

  5. Ski travel experts Scout Ski

  6. Ski sports community Ski Club

  7. Ski holiday provider Ski World

  8. Independent ski holiday provider Skiline

  9. Canadian and US ski holiday provider Skican

Robinson continued: “The majority of operators that we have partnered with are based in the UK, but we have a large number across the Atlantic, in both the US and Canada, and closer to home in Europe. We have seen a large uptake in bookings from North America recently and a surge in Australia and other countries that were prevented from travelling to Europe last season due to covid restrictions, which is great to see. We’re continuing to seek new partners with more to come in the months ahead and we’re looking forward to working with our new alliances this winter.”

“We’re also continuously enhancing our digital capabilities and are in the process of building an API, a sophisticated tech function, which will mean users can add Maison Sport ski lessons to their basket when booking accommodation. It will be the first, ski lesson API available to tour operators in the world and we’re looking forward to launching it soon.”

Angus Kinloch, Managing Director at Ski Line, said: “Our customers are always looking for flexibility and an easy booking process to make their lives easier. It’s therefore great to be partnering with Maison Sport, enabling us to improve our customer experience and we’re looking forward to working with them this winter season and beyond.”

Pete Kovacevic at Alpine Adventures adds: “We have been looking at ways to enhance our customer booking experience and to offer all ski holiday needs in one place. This newly announced partnership is the perfect solution.”
