Phil Burroughes joins Team ITG as Managing Director of Capture and Innovation
Team ITG, the technology-led multichannel marketing activation business, has hired industry veteran Phil Burroughes to head up the Capture and Innovation departments, to lead sustainable marketing campaigns and tech innovations at the photography, film and TV studio.
Burroughes has previously worked in the media sector with the BBC and Guardian before moving to the agency side working with clients such as Adidas, H&M, Target, Co-op and Tesco.
He brings with him years of experience across multiple industries with a deep understanding of business growth from both a supplier and retailer’s viewpoint, and will support Team ITG to deliver outstanding marketing communications to their clients.
The new hire forms part of Team ITG’s expansion of its Creative Department, strengthening this area to help global brands deliver high-impact, scalable marketing campaigns, centred around their 30,000 square foot Capture photography, film and TV studio.
Phil Burroughes, MD of Capture and Innovation at Team ITG, commented: “Joining Team ITG was an easy decision having long admired their focus on tech-powered marketing – using cutting-edge innovation to make life easier for marketers. ITG Capture is helping brands create more high-quality photography and film content while saving them time and money, and I’m excited to start working with our teams on how we can take this game-changing proposition to the next level.”
Simon Ward, CEO of Inspired Thinking Group, commented: “At Inspired Thinking Group we are incredibly proud of the creative results we deliver for our clients, and we welcome Phil Burroughes to help build upon our existing expertise. Our collaborative approach is central to what we do, and we hope to see our creative services and production facilities boosted further by new hires such as Phil, as we continue to provide disruptive campaigns to all our clients.”
At Capture, Team ITG recently shot Jaeger’s British road trip campaign, unveiling the fashion brand’s new summer clothing line. The shoot involved state-of-the-art extended Virtual Production, showcasing the future of sustainable marketing by brining global sets to one location.
