SmartFrame Technologies welcomes Jennifer Clements as Global Publishing Director

SmartFrame Technologies, a UK-based SaaS technology provider specialising in image streaming, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jennifer Clements, who joins the company as its new Global Publishing Director.

Clements arrives with extensive experience within the publishing industry, developing brand strategy and facilitating mutually beneficial commercial partnerships. Most recently, she served as Commercial Director of Parenting at Immediate Media Co, where she worked across MadeForMums and Junior websites, overseeing all commercial lines into brands.

Hiring Clements is the next strategic step in SmartFrame’s growth plans, which sees the team doubling in size by the end of the year. Clements will be tasked with bringing greater awareness of SmartFrame’s product and its various advantages to an extensive range of global publishers, specifically around the removal of image licensing fees and accrual of incremental ad revenues; increased user engagement for better attention and longer dwell times; and more robust brand safety.

“I’m delighted to welcome Jennifer to the company,” said Rob Sewell, CEO of SmartFrame. “She will play a vital role in expanding our publishing division, using her extensive knowledge of the industry. Jennifer’s deep expertise in the publishing space will be crucial in helping us develop our in-image contextual ad offering and bringing it to an even broader range of audiences with global partnerships.”

Clements added: “What caught my attention is SmartFrame’s vision. The company brings much-needed innovation to the industry, and reinvigorating our image ecosystem is a mission I’m excited to get behind. The technology empowers content owners, drives more transparency in the advertising and publishing industries, and sets the stage for a more equitable and efficient image sourcing and licensing model. I am thoroughly looking forward to working with great creative people who are keen to innovate in the image space.”
