Start-Up Dash is set to Revolutionise How Children and Young Adults Learn About Entrepreneurship
A new mobile game is set to revolutionise how children learn about entrepreneurship, whilst also giving entrepreneurs some light relief from work.
Start-Up Dash is a fast, fun game, based on the "endless runner" format, similar to the hugely successful Temple Run and Subway Surf mobile games, which sees players collecting crypto currency, and having to avoid crashing in to their competitors.
The game is the brainchild of entrepreneur Julian Hall who runs Ultra Education, a company that teaches entrepreneurship to kids.
"The game was actually based loosely on my children. I wanted to find a fun way to teach entrepreneurship to young people, in addition to the classes that we run, so I developed the game with support from a tech team based in Ireland. One of the characters, Malachi is named after my 7-year-old," says Julian excitedly.
Julian has been in the business world for over 10 years, but he was determined not to go it alone, so he teamed up with award winning business supremo Daryl Woodhouse, who brings a strategic element to the game. Daryl is a top 50, UK business advisor who generated over £2 million in revenue for one of his companies, so it’s a perfect match.

Although the game is laden with business terms, and sees the players having to collect their wages, it has all of the tension, highs, lows and screams that you would expect to find in every game. It's often thought that you can't have an educational game that is upbeat and fun, but Start-Up Dash proves that theory wrong.
Co-Founder Daryl warns, "If you like fun, then this game is highly addictive for all ages!"
