TMF Group, a leading provider of compliance and administrative services, today announced the appointments of Joel Cardenas as the new Head of Business Development for Latin America, and Ard Crebas as the new Head of Business Development for North America and the Caribbean.

Joel and Ard will lead the business development initiatives in their respective regions to further expand TMF Group’s presence. They will both report to TMF Group’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), Jan Willem van Drimmelen.

Joel brings over a decade of business development experience to the role. He joined TMF Group in January 2020, with a strong background in sales for capital markets, funds, and private wealth. Prior to joining TMF Group, Joel served as the business unit director for Southern Europe and Latin America at a funds and corporate services provider.

Based in the United States, Ard joined TMF Group in February 2020 and was promoted to a senior sales leadership role in January 2023. Ard has over a decade of experience and, prior to joining TMF Group, held a senior sales position at a funds and corporate services provider.

Commenting on the appointments, Jan Willem said: “We are delighted to announce that Joel and Ard have been appointed to lead our business development teams; they both bring extensive experience and expertise to their new roles. Both regions also offer promising growth potential and will certainly benefit from these appointments. This move is consistent with our mission of focusing on internal promotions and developing our own talent.”

Joel Cardenas said: “I am thrilled to start this new professional chapter. Latin America is full of potential and I am keen to explore and expand the business opportunities it has to offer.”

Ard Crebas commented: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead the teams in North America and the Caribbean. I am looking forward to seeing how we can grow exponentially across these key regions.”
