Canvin & Catchpole, a family butchers specialising in high quality, sustainable produce, launch a selection of Christmas hampers to support the Felix Project. Each order will provide up to 12 hot meals to help tackle child hunger this Christmas.

Joined forces to feed children and promote local producers

This Christmas, Canvin & Catchpole have joined forces with a number of local food brands to launch their first Holiday Hunger Christmas Hampers, which include their award-winning Aberdeen Angus Dry Aged Wing Rib along with booze-infused Smoked Salmon, Vintage Cheddar Cheese and more. This year more than ever, it is the ideal gift to share with loved ones and in doing so support local business rather than other large online multinationals. #buylocal

And because Christmas is all about sharing, Canvin & Catchpole are committed to donating up to 12 meals per hamper sold via the Felix Project and charity Chefs in Schools. They will use C&C beef to make special Christmas Burgers for school kids in Enfield, London. It is their aim to feed in excess of 1500 children this holiday season.

Felix project

The Christmas hampers will be delivered between the 22nd and 23rd of December and must be pre-ordered by the 30th November to give them time to Dry Age the cuts of beef for the perfect meal this Christmas.

Three types of hampers are available:

 - Festive Breakfast Hamper

 - Dinner Selection Hamper

 - Full Christmas Hamper

‘At Canvin & Catchpole, our focus is on making the world a better place whether it is supplying our customers with the very best locally sourced produce or giving back to the land that provides us with our food. This year we are committed to planting  4000 + trees and that’s just the start. As the global pandemic has brought so much difficulty to people’s lives, our Christmas hampers are designed to help bring back some joy this Christmas. We hope he delicious goodies will brighten up people’s homes and the hot meal donations will do the same for children in need too.’ – Luke Canvin.

Tradition and sustainability

Canvin & Catchpole are a 5th generation family-run butchery from Bedfordshire. Their key priorities are to produce meat in a sustainable way, re-investing proceeds in trees and preserving biodiversity and animal welfare.

They recently launched their website, Canvin and Catchpole, where they sell a selection of grass-fed beef fillets, rib joints and other high-quality products from their estate.
