Danny Scott is the CEO and co-founder of CoinCorner, a cryptocurrency exchange in the Isle of Man. Originally from Lancashire, Danny moved to the Isle of Man in 2009 shortly after graduating with a Bachelor of Computer Science degree (honours) from Lancaster University. A software developer turned entrepreneur, Danny’s interest in Bitcoin began while working at The Bug Net, a software company he co-founded in 2012. Providing software solutions, the business worked with clients such as Microsoft and Tunstall Health Care. After trying to buy and mine Bitcoin (both proved difficult to do in 2013) with a friend, the pair recognised that there was a gap in the UK market for a safe and simple place to buy Bitcoin. CoinCorner was founded in 2014 with the aim of making Bitcoin easy and accessible to UK customers.

CoinCorner is a cryptocurrency wallet and exchange platform, that allows customers to buy, sell and store Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum and Ripple/XRP. Founded in 2014, CoinCorner was set up with the aim of making Bitcoin easy to buy and accessible to UK customers. At this time, there was growing customer demand for Bitcoin services, but no reliable and trusted providers. CoinCorner began with simple goals, putting the customer at the heart of the decision-making. CoinCorner has expanded exponentially since 2014 and especially in the last 12 months. Since the beginning of 2018, the company has doubled in size and now employs 15 full-time team members. Although primarily targeting the UK market, CoinCorner's cryptocurrency services are available in more than 45 countries worldwide.
