All Accounting Professionals can now access Bridging Software to help transition clients

 
 

Intuit QuickBooks reveals that it is Making Tax Digital (MTD) for VAT Bridging Software is now live and available to all accounting professionals using QuickBooks Online wanting to file for their clients. This software release marks the latest addition to the suite of apps, services and tools offered by QuickBooks to help accountants and bookkeepers support their clients through the transition to the new digital tax system. 

The QuickBooks Bridging Software is provided free, as added value to existing QuickBooks Online Accountant (QBOA) users, enabling them to help the tens of thousands of small businesses who haven’t yet decided to migrate out of spreadsheets*. 

With the MTD deadline of 1 April fast approaching this Bridging Software helps businesses that are not ready to move completely to the cloud, or work within a complex VAT scheme, by enabling them to use spreadsheets to file their VAT through their accountant using QBOA.

QuickBooks has worked closely with HMRC, small businesses and accounting professionals through both its Beta Testing and Private Pilot of the software to ensure its customers have the smoothest and easiest experience of submitting a VAT return in this way.

QuickBooks Bridging Software is available now for all QuickBooks Online Accountant users and will be available for all eligible clients in the near future.
