YGT has worked with over 50 young women ages 12-21 in the past year in Croydon. We support girls to feel empowered, build their confidence and self-esteem alongside giving them the opportunity to gain access to career coaching, training and employment opportunities in sectors such as engineering, science, IT, construction, media, coding. We are all about helping girls access industries where women are still very heavily under represented and providing them the resources, support through mentoring to achieve their goals.
We are helping to combat exclusion and anti social behaviour, girl gang issues that are also a very much hidden part of the knife crime happening in the capital. We are proving young women with positive role models that look like them as well as providing a safe space where they can thrive, grow and inspire.
